Next-Generation Visual CMS

A next-generation CMS concept focused on editing content directly in the website context, reducing the distance between what editors change and what visitors actually see.

The long-term vision is a CMS that feels closer to professional design and developer tools than a traditional admin panel. Editors should be able to understand, select, update, reorder, and manage content in the place where it appears.

The concept has been shaped through ABWD.NET's own CMS work, including structured pages, reusable sections, content modules, admin controls, translation fields, and database-backed layouts. The next step is moving more editing actions into the live page context.

The core idea is to load website content with stable IDs, field metadata, content type, and editing context so the CMS can update real page elements without forcing editors to guess how an admin form maps to the public layout.
